| 125416 | 2003-03-04 03:04:00 | For some reason my computer seems to be searching for content in the A:\ drive every time I use <file <open. I have read somewhere of a fix for this but cannot find it. Can anyone help with this annoyance? I have Windows 98 SE | Noel (2841) | ||
| 125417 | 2003-03-04 03:46:00 | Hi Noel My computer will do that if I open file from a floppy then take the disk out without first closing that file or saving it to another disk. Every time I try to open a file it seeks the floppy first until I put the disk back in, reopen then close the file. I don't know if that would be the reason in your case but it works for me. (W98).
