| 126035 | 2003-03-06 11:09:00 | I have been working overseas for a few years and have bought a computer, and now I am return to live in New Zealand I want to bring my computer with me. However, I am wondering if the current power supply will work/is safe to use i New Zealand. These are the specifications: Input 115/230V~8A/4.5A 50/60Hz If anyone can advie me on thsi it would be greatly appreciated! Regards, Nimrod |

| 126037 | 2003-03-06 11:35:00 | Sounds like a "world supply" that covers all voltages, BUT check if there is a switch to change from 115 to 230v. If there is, then change it to 230v. If its a wide range supply (as in most laptops now) then its fine. My Laptop is 110~230 v with no need to adjust. All my desktops have a small switch beside the power socket to chamge over. Again check the instructions and the unit for a small recesses slide switch first. |
