| 125861 | 2003-03-06 01:53:00 | I am using IE6 and am having a problem when I click on a link which runs a java script. A window will open but then nothing else loads into that window. The microsoft Knowledge base suggests running a program over several dll files but this has not worked nor has setting my security to low worked. any ideas ?? | danios (3296) | ||
| 125862 | 2003-03-06 05:47:00 | Do you run any type of Ad Blocking software? Preferably something that doesn't like popups which are usually created using Javascript. If that's the case you'll have to configure your ad blocker so it'd work with it. Does clicking any link e.g. plain website links open in new window? It's a setting in IE that lets you open up every page you click on in a new window. I've not tried it out on Javascript links but this could possibly stop it from loading correctly. |

| 125864 | 2003-03-06 19:39:00 | I am not aware that I have any ad-blocking software apart from the fact that I am behind the company firewall and we all run Norton Antivirus Corporate Edition. I have not got round to asking around my co-workers if they have the same problem but I have not heard any complaints. | danios (3296) | ||
| 125865 | 2003-03-06 19:57:00 | If you are on a network do you have the rights to open stuff on the network like java I know on most network I have been on we disable this and also streeming media. could be you need a plugin or 128bit encription on IE might need latest IE and SP like ie 6 sp2 I found that sometimes you have to take off all setting in options and then reaply them as what you see in the options are not what might be set and you have to "refresh " the settings like cookies, vb script and java downloads |
