125778 2003-03-05 10:50:00 All documents in my "Shared Folders" (documents, music and pictures) can't be deleted. Am logged on as administrator but gives access denied message when try to delete or move. Properties shows only a read only box and a hidden box (both unticked) yet no archive box which you'd expect.
Any ideas?
Cheers

125779 2003-03-05 10:57:00 Have you looked at who created the files by looking in the properties of the file. You may find that only the person that created them can delete them as they "own" them. -=JM=- (16)
125780 2003-03-05 11:38:00 Doesn't give author - mind you I'm sure I've mucked things up somewhere along the line for as per my previous post there is no archive box as there normally is. I can't even delete the sample pictures and the customary beck music files that are there on a new install. GregD (3099)
125781 2003-03-06 01:24:00 Well my ones don't have an archive option either. But I can delete them. Have you looked at the security tab? -=JM=- (16)
