126091 2003-03-12 04:19:00 I prefer LeechGet.

I used to use GetRight, but, as some of you said, it looks absolutely awful, for want of more coarse words. You also have to remember that LeechGet is developed by a small group of German people, not some big company, so of course it's going to be slightly worse than other download managers. It looks wonderful, especially in XP/2000 with transparency effects enabled, and it does it's job. Only moan I have is that if it crashes during download, you will, 99% of the time, have to start the download from the beginning, as it will revert back to an auto-saved list with a wrong completion percentage.

I thank so; I am running FlashGet & DAP on XP.

126093 2003-03-12 06:41:00 A couple of things:

Tim> Mind ya language matey, thats a lot of swearing in so few sentances!

Getright:
Its good, but I found it hard to navigate

Dap:
I loved it. Register it and you get skinnable interface and no ads. I found it faster and yet slower than Getright with certain downloads.

DAP is a excellent program, and its not spyware.

It comes down to personal preference.

Flashget... I only used it when it had just changed its name from jetcar, and AFAIK, at the time I thought it was a heck of a lot faster than DAP :-)

126094 2003-03-12 07:06:00 For p2p anything that uses the Fasttrack network, Kazaa lite is good (www.kazaalite.com)

For download manager I use Flash Get v1.3. works perfectly for all download tasks.
