126166 2003-03-07 23:14:00 Well, I have been trying the AdSubtract SE version since I posted earlier, and it certainly reclaims a heap of screen real estate by getting rid of ads. Haven't come across a popup site yet, but it is certainly worth it to get rid of ads.

Agnitum, Outpost firewall has an excellant popup stopper. They have a free personal version.

Cheers

126168 2003-03-07 23:19:00 The SE version only deals to ads. You have to buy the PRO version at $US29.95 to deal to popups :-( John H (8)
126169 2003-03-08 00:12:00 Notice that I have the Pro version, but not sure how - never paid for it. It's been installed for a while, and pretty sure that it came from their site. Must have got lucky.

126171 2003-03-08 01:33:00 No - too far from the sea. Further digging into the bowels, shows that my version had some help from a site not allowed to be discussed on this forum.
