| 126338 | 2003-03-07 06:58:00 | When trying to transfer files from my document folder to the floppy disc the system locks up solid. I can transfer small files up to about 90KB but anything over that size will cause a lockup. I tried copying and pasting to the floppy, right clicking the file in windows explorer and send to option to the floppy but it always locks up the system if it involves a larger than 90 KB file. I have replaced the floppy drive. The computer is an Unisys Aquanta DL, it has a Pentium processor, 1.7GB harddrive and 32 MB RAM memory. It runs on Win98 first edition. I hope someone can give me some clues. |

| 126340 | 2003-03-07 10:05:00 | when the system locks up i do not get the blue screen of death, it won't even react to cntr-alt-del. I have to switch the computer off and on to get it started again. I will try and find an update for the motherboard altough i have to find out first what brand it is, it seems pretty old. Thanks for your suggestion. | vanderneut (3308) | ||
| 126341 | 2003-03-08 01:47:00 | This seems a "bit" odd. Uusually you can copy files to a floppy, as long as they are less than 1.4 MB. 90KB is not even a known "old" DOS floppy size. Can you copy files to/from the floppy using DOS? |
