| 126153 | 2003-03-07 01:59:00 | help please, I am trying to reformat a win 98 and wish to make the first boot device the cd rom. i can't as some turkey has put a password on the bios and i can no get in.. any advice really appreciated. thanks Paul |

| 126154 | 2003-03-07 02:08:00 | What make of BIOS is it? Award, AMI etc Do a search in google for BIOS passwords or CMOS passwords and the make of BIOS you have. You should find a few sites that list all the backdoor passwords. Most of the time they don't work but it's worth a try. Only other way is to open the PC and on the mainboard should be a jumper to reset the CMOS settings. |
