| 126814 | 2003-03-09 08:03:00 | Can anybody tell me step by step in plain English how I can access my Favourites without opening a browser window. With Win98 they were readily available on the sidebar but with WinXp (HE) you have to be in the browser to find them. | poppy (552) | ||

| 126816 | 2003-03-09 08:42:00 | Pheonix gave you one option. Another option is to have them on your Start Menu like it was with Win 98. I am assuming that your Start Menu has the new Win XP rather than looking like Win 98's one. Do the following: Right-click the Start button, choose Properties. Make sure you have the Start Menu tab open, then click on the Customize button. Click on the Advanced tab. In the "Start menu items" box put a tick in the "Favorites Menu" box. Click OK twice to exit. You should then see the Favorites on the Start Menu. If you want to, there is no reason why you cannot have Pheonix's option as well as the one I have given you. :-) |
