| 126674 | 2003-03-08 20:09:00 | Maybe i'm missin something, but having been enticed to buy this magazine (in part at least) to play this game, i am somewhat frustrated by the fact that i don't seem to be able to run this game. I am running win98SE and have copied the directory to my hdd but it hangs running the self-extractor. Ideas? thanks |

| 126675 | 2003-03-09 06:46:00 | Have a look at this site BATTLECRUISER 3000AD v2.0x TROUBLESHOOTING FAQ (www.3000ad.com). I don't know is this is the same version that is in the PC World Mag. This part here may be helpful: .... if you did not adhere to the warning in the README.TXT file that is displayed prior to installation. You should NOT install the game to a folder that has more than 8 characters in the name. C:\BATTLECRUISER is incorrect, C:\GAMES\BC3000AD OR SIMILAR, IS OK. When in doubt, use the default, C:\BC3000AD Jen |
