| 126808 | 2003-03-09 08:44:00 | I was given an old 14" Unisys monitor (told it was in good condition) but when I plug in to my PC, there is no activity (blank screen). I could however, see that the indicator light changes from orange-yellow to green when booting up the PC. What could be the likely problem? Cheers |

When you turn it off, do you see ANY activity on the screen (collapsing raster, squiggly line....ANYTHING) If you dont, then its possible that there is no EHT supply, and repairs would probably be uneconomic. Otherwise, it could be any of a few hundred possibilites.... |

| 126810 | 2003-03-09 09:03:00 | godfather, Thanks for your prompt response. When I turn it off, the screen has No activity at all - completely dead. Probably has to wait for the next hard rubbish collection to 'give' it away! Thanks, anyway. |
