| 126785 | 2003-03-09 06:19:00 | Hi, I am an absolute newbie to Linux. I have just recently installed Mandrake Linux 9.0, which is needed for a paper I am doing in Auckland Uni. The problem I am facing now is that, I can't get a internet connection going. I am guessing it has something to do with the drivers and the hardware support for my Dynalink ADSL modem (ALH-110) on this OS. I can't seem to find the option to select my own drivers for the modem, is there such options?? Any help would be appreciated. P.S. I am running a dual-boot machine with WinXP as well..which is wat I am using now : ) |

Although you have to do all the installation from the console no flash wizards or anything. but thats linux for you :) too bad u dont have an RTA-210 thats what i used and it took 5 secs to install it under mandrake 9.0 :) what paper r u doing? |
