| 126763 | 2003-03-09 03:43:00 | i got a 52x cd-rom for some reason it doesn't read disc fast no where near 52x probably not even 30x or 40x all i can see is its green light flashing once every second and can't even hear anything spinning it use to make much noice but it reads fast now it's slowwwww it takes nearly 15min to copy 500Mb of data from a cd-r which was only burnt at 16x which should make it easy to read i've also tried it with the pc world cd it goes a bit faster but still slow i've cleaned the lens several times now and nothings working any ideas..?? |

| 126768 | 2003-03-11 09:34:00 | isn't that a bit strong.... anyway it would be way to hard to reach in especailly when my cd-rom sucks the tray back in automatically when it comes out...major mechenical problem it's probably easier getting a new cd-rom now |
