| 126754 | 2003-03-09 05:54:00 | roughly put intel are well known for being nice and stable, sis a bit faster and cheaper and via.......the're just cheap ;-) | tweak'e (174) | ||
| 126755 | 2003-03-09 08:30:00 | Via make excelent athlon chipsets but i dont no about their pentium ones | mcatley (662) | ||
| 126756 | 2003-03-09 08:51:00 | Stability I would recommend Intel on Intel and the 845pe is getting very good reviews ... that said myself I am running the SIS 648 with DDR 400 and an 8x AGP card and it is rock solid for stability ......... plus has more up to date features than the current intel chipsets .......... As for VIA ...... well ... only if you have to ............ |

| 126757 | 2003-03-09 09:07:00 | Don't bother with Via... Sis is fine... Intel, well... pricey aren't they? Asus boards using Sis have worked fine for me. Lo. |
