1331945 2013-03-07 23:40:00 I recorded a file in wav format on my MP3 player and would like to convert it to MP3, and also reduce the duration of the file.

Is there a program that can convert wav to MP3?

1331946 2013-03-07 23:50:00 Freemake video converter should. (www.freemake.com) Make sure you do a custom install and untick the toolbars etc before you install it Speedy Gonzales (78)
1331947 2013-03-08 00:21:00 There are hundreds of programs that can do that, including windows media player I'm pretty sure.
CDEX is an old one and a bit slower than some but still pretty good.
DB power amp is another.

If you google wav to mp3 you will get pages of results

Easy as to trim it, and no toolbars either ;)

For editing I think Audacity would be the best

Yeah you can buy the paid pro version but I've never needed to, the free one does fine.

Also, I like Audacity, but the interface isn't as "easy" compared to Goldwave, I found Goldwave way easier to use by comparison...

1331953 2013-03-10 02:03:00 I have found Format Factory from here (http://format-factory.en.softonic.com/) to meet all my needs for many different conversion types. It's free and very comprehensive yet simple to use Blue Druid (4480)
