1305673 2012-10-08 02:53:00 Woohoo! It's arrived! Partially charged and already knew that it was mine (defaulted to me when I fired it up).

It's one one system update and I've installed a couple of paid apps I have on my other devices, but will do more tonight....

1305675 2012-10-08 04:12:00 Awesome :D If you sign in via a VPN, you can get yourself $25 worth of Play Store Credit, but I think that only last for another week or two? Chilling_Silence (9)

1305677 2012-10-08 21:48:00 First impressions are that it seems much smoother and more reponsive than either my Transformer (TF101) or my HTC Sensation - both of which arre running ICS. Not sure how much of that is due to hardware or to Jellybean goodness, but loving it at the moment.

It's nice and light and fits nicely in the pocket of my jeans (front or back), although I wouldn't want to try to sit down with it in a pocket!!

One thing that surprised me is that it knew when I arrived home how to connect to my home network (I unboxed it and did the initial setup at work, but used my phone as a hotspot to do it)...

1305678 2012-10-08 21:58:00 it'll be as a result of jellybean

prior to upgrading my nexus to JB, ICS felt a little sluggish but still a great OS

@Johcar: you must have deep pockets :D :D

Only $376.11 including freight all the way to my door in NZ - so pockets not so deep.... :)

(Besides - you can't take it with you - so you might as well spend it and enjoy yourself!!)

1305680 2012-10-08 23:29:00 Yeah it'll have downloaded saved WiFi connections from your account while at work and "remembered" them on your N7.

Most of the speed is due to the performance enhancements in Jellybean, it makes even a single-core 1Ghz w/512MB RAM run slick, but the quad-core 1.2Ghz is no slouch either ;)
