1332010 2013-03-09 21:10:00 If you can go into msconfig and find the program/setting you should be able to untick it so it doesn't run on startup, reboot, then try uninstalling it. Some of these programs will run even in safe mode. wainuitech (129)
1332011 2013-03-09 21:15:00 Ok will try thanks PeterQ (16315)
1332012 2013-03-09 21:18:00 No, its not in there PeterQ (16315)
1332013 2013-03-09 21:33:00 Hmm OK it looks like its part of another program as speedy mentioned.

Something to try - Open Task manager - see if its running, if it is try and stop Process. Then go to the location of gdrv.sys and rename it to gdrv.old

Reboot and see if you still get a BSOD. Its not uninstalling it, its only stopping it from running by renaming it.

"IF" it doesn't allow you to rename it, you may have to boot into the other working OS and navigate to it that way on the problem drive and rename it.

Edited: Just found another thread, same problem, renaming didn't work in this persons case - have a read of www.sevenforums.com Same problem and possible solution.

1332014 2013-03-09 21:44:00 What Gigabyte utilities have you installed, eg Easy Tune, Dynamic Energy Saver, On/Off Charge etc?
Autoruns (technet.microsoft.com) is a program I use to see what automatically starts with Windows.
