| 1306059 | 2012-10-11 21:04:00 | What was the car driving game that got banned because in the game you could run over people ? :) there are heaps of games you can do that, GTA, simpsons hit and run (brilliant game for the kids!), carmageddon EDIT: the powerslide i remember was like stuntcar racer (dont get the letters mixed up ;)) |

I think it's silly. Why not ban life? You can run real people over in a real car. Much worse than in a game. |

They want something to complain about, why not campaign against drunk drivers or something else that's actually a problem. I've seen many times on the police TV shows where they pull someone over who's driving drunk and then they mention that it's the nth time they've pulled the guy over for the same thing. Why are they even allowed more than 1 chance? |

Carmaggeddon may have been banned in some markets, it was just R rated here. You couldn't just run over people, you got bonus points for doing it with style or hitting multiple people in quick succession. And you could win a "race" without ever completing a lap just by wreaking carnage on pedestrians and livestock and taking out the other cars. If you found the american football stadium you could chase the team around the field and mow them down. Political correctness be damned these games are fun. |
