1306316 2012-10-11 00:13:00 The weather is very hard to predict at the best of times. It would be nice if the farmers could accurately predict the weather for the coming season. Many farmers in Southland must have been caught unawares when we had a drought during last December and January. This must have affected grass growth for farmers wanting to make hay for the winter feed.

The Government must spend millions on weather predictions. I have a $250 weather station in my backyard which sometimes gives an accurate prediction. Perhaps it is as accurate as the Government's weather prediction system for predicting local conditions.

7.2 in the mail, you might get a 2% improvement, with luck.

1306318 2012-10-11 06:23:00 Great example of the "Climate change" industry in action. Could have got Ken Ring a whole lot cheaper a three year subscription to his book would give just as accurate predictions.:-) CliveM (6007)
