| 127139 | 2003-03-10 11:27:00 | hi there im after a p3 600e/700/750/800/850 mhz cpu. preferably a p3 800 or 850 mhz for a my epox slot 1 ep-6vba motherboard. now im not too clued up on the cpus that can go in this board, do they have to be p3 slot 1 cpus or can the newer cpus (p3 800 but its not a slot1) be fitted with some kind of adapter i heard?..i know the celeron 466 in my pc is attached with an adapter to the m/board. somebody help me!! |

| 127140 | 2003-03-10 22:49:00 | check with the manafactures web site as to whatthe highest cpu the bios will allow you to run. your slot 1 to socket 370 coverter board you have at the mo may work but try to get the converter board that have voltage adjustment on it in case your motherboard dosn't support the later voltages. | tweak'e (174) | ||
