| 126828 | 2003-03-09 09:24:00 | Yes it runs 22 tests and does open and close a lot of windows. Netscape 7 and mozilla get a clean bill of health. Opera crashes when tested. IE6 fully patched on Win98 still has one medium vulnerability. | mikebartnz (21) | ||
| 126829 | 2003-03-09 09:25:00 | Yep, it is.. RawWrite reports it as that too.... Dunno what they're calling .NET - Should b 6 IMHO! |

I reakon cuz it's built on the .NET Framework, as opposed to the origional NT technology. I could be wrong though, but to me, .NET rc2 seemed like a whole new ball game in the OS dept. It was a major improvement from XP and 2K, and if Longhorn is an end-user based version of this as opposed to a Server OS, then I'll be lining up to buy longhorn ASAP! |

But as far as I am aware the .NET Server (now called Windows Server 2003?) is the server version of XP well sort of. Just like there is Windows 2002 Profession/Server/Adv.Server. Longhorn has a new filesystem and other goodies like that...... *waits for a trial of longhorn ;)* |
