| 127141 | 2003-03-10 09:47:00 | I have a Windows XP PC. Since updating to SP1 the PC has frozen every time I leave go away for a few minutes then attempt to start re-using the PC. * The only thing that powers down is the monitor (after 20 mins). * Checking the powersave settings, system hibernation isn't enabled, nor is the hard disk or anything else internal powered down (so far as I can tell). * I'm not really even sure if SP1 is the culprit, blaming Microsoft is a a time-honoured tradition, and the SP1 is the only thing that's changed in recent weeks (which is about the same time that problems started). Anyone have any idea of what would be best for me to check out, or has anyone heard of similar issues after the upgrade to SP1. Thanks |
