126852 2003-03-09 10:17:00 Im trying to make a crossword in MS Excel 2000. Is it possible to enter just one letter in a cell and have that cell move to the right or down a cell straight after? Silenoz (3319)
126853 2003-03-09 10:31:00 Depends how it's set up but the defaults are:
Press <Enter> to go down one square; <tab> to go one cell to the right.

126854 2003-03-09 11:06:00 I realise that by entering or using TAB's or arrrows moves to the next cell, but I want it to move automatically to the next cell without having to use these default keys. Silenoz (3319)

Before I retired 10 years ago, we used to use a software program called UGEN, which used to have fields requiring certain length numbers or characters, and after each entry skipped along to the next field.
