| 127425 | 2003-03-11 23:56:00 | Hi I've had a similar/same problem (constipated email, timeout), using paradise & win98 not sure whether it is the paradise server, the sender or Outlook Express and win98 but, deleting all messages on the server seems to do the trick. Sometimes I can identify 1 or 2 particular messages that are triggering the problem and just deleting those gets things on the move again. Hadn't thought of this before, am now using w2k, try unchecking the leave a copy of messages on the server, in the advanced tab, Tools>Accounts>Properties>Advanced. It may work, downside is you won't have a backup copy of email held on the server for x days. Cheers Murray P |
