127538 2003-03-12 07:14:00 Ive got two mice, one is an A4Tech wheel mouse, the other has no wheel...

When I use them in linux, they arent the happiest of mice, they like to sit in the bottom left hand corner...

There can be issues in Win9x with them and no driver too...

Anybody know where to get a mouse driver for RedHat 8?

Cheers

127539 2003-03-12 07:29:00 You shouldn't need any specific driver unless it's a different interface other than PS/2.

I'm not sure what the drivers are called. I think PS/2 and IMPS/2 are them but I'm not sure, I'd only know this if I was in RH right now but I'm in XP.

127540 2003-03-12 07:32:00 I think its set to use IMPS/2 at the moment.. Should I try just removing the IM?

What's the IM for anyway?

127541 2003-03-12 07:35:00 I'm assuming it stands for IntelliMouse... just a driver that supports MS's wheelmouse and compatible mice. Kame (312)
