| 127369 | 2003-03-11 09:48:00 | I recently installed Windows2000 Pro over the top of Win98, and am now having problems trying to connect to the internet. I have kept my previous account and settings, but when I try to connect I can no longer hear the modem making the funny sqealing noises, in fact I cant even hear it activate, and it waits a few seconds before giving me an error message "error 692" something about modem not working properly or not turned on or not installed. But it is insalled and appears to be working properly and turned on. Please help if possible, i'm quite lost... | Step (3336) | ||
