| 127786 | 2003-03-13 09:41:00 | I have a Win95 machine ( I know I should upgrade) using IE5 5.5 and Outlook Express 5.5 that won't retain the password. I can type in a password but the "save password" box is grayed out so I cant check the box. It will try to connect to the net ok with no password in the dial up box, but after the dial up box disappears a "User Logon" box appears...you have to type the password there and hit OK and you are away...any thoughts will be appreciated...cheers. | veight (3352) | ||
| 127787 | 2003-03-13 09:55:00 | Hi veight In IE if you choose Tools > Internet Options > Connection Tab There is a text box near the bottom of the page to enter your password in that should make it persistent. Hope this helps oldfart B-) |
