| 127887 | 2003-03-14 07:34:00 | 1. b) Any self proficient techie should be doing this ;). No time for that "touch-typing" nonsense. 2. e) or f). Few mistakes. 3. c) Refer to my comment on question 1 (one). 4. a) That should be known to most of you. 5. Male - ah, now I understand the answer to question 5, I was looking at "1 - a 2 - f (used to be g when I was typing all the time) 3 - a 4 - c 5 - female " and thinking "what the hell? the option for Male isn't in there". Then I realised the questions had stopped and Susan had started answering. |

| 127889 | 2003-03-14 07:44:00 | I touch type without looking at the keyboard 98% of the time. I correct my own mistakes also without seeing I've made them. I type over 90 Words per Minute (I've tested my speed with Typing Tutor 5 which is at my school, I usually get around 115 - 120 but thats when typing text on screen so I've deducted a fair bit to account for that) Read a small book on typing that teaches the position of fingers. And I've just slowly become faster over a couple of years Age 15 Male |

| 127891 | 2003-03-14 07:59:00 | I got 49 words per minute too, maybe it's a crock. Anyone get anything different? robo. (In all honesty I use about five fingers at the most, they go quick though.) |

| 127893 | 2003-03-14 08:22:00 | I always wanted to be able to type, so when I retired and bought a computer, I purchased a copy of Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing and, like the toothless parrot, I finally succeeded. ( Note: Nothing sucks seeds like a toothless parrot.) 1 - a 2 - d (sometimes - e) 3 - b 4 - f (67) 5 - Male Cheers, ExLL |
