| 128259 | 2003-03-15 01:57:00 | Is it prudent to run %temp% in XP to flush the temp folders completely? Disc Cleanup does not flush the temp folder completely. In previous versions of Windows I used to flush the temp files and cookies completely periodically and found this system beneficial, I would like to do the same with XP. Will running %temp% flush out the .Dat files also? Is there a best way to Clean Up? The use of %temp% was found in Microsoft's Windows XP Inside Out but they do not elaborate too much. I'm 3 months new to XP. They do some things differently. There is a lot to get my head around yet. Yes I found where they hide the temp folders. |
