| 128060 | 2003-03-14 10:23:00 | You may be having a BSOD. To check, right click on the MY COMPUTER icon and choose properties from the menu that pops up. Click the ADVANCED tab and you will see a button called settings inside a box called Startup and recovery. Click on that and from the new window that pops up, untick the AUTOMATICALLY RESTART. Now OK your way back through the windows. Restart and let us know what happens. | Pheonix (280) | ||
| 128061 | 2003-03-14 10:37:00 | actually what happens is a bl**dy big blue screen! It does tell me all the probs my comp is having which is only a stupid tv card. Even though i shut it down it tells me that win has shut it down to prevent damage. Basically it still wont shut down. Maybe time for a format C: Oh well i was bored anyway. This time i will put red hat on. redhat has heaps more usefull stuff anyway. and it doesnt give me blue screens. Thanks heaps anyway. P.S does BSOD stand for bloody shity old day? |
