If someone bombs both Auckland and Wellington and you can't PHONE anyone in Christchurch or Dunedin then there is a fair chance you won't be worried about the Internet. You might be more worried about whether the local New World, Countdown etc is open. You might be more worried also if you don't have a roof on your house. |

But if you look at the posting times you would see that it was only out for about 1 to 2 minutes. Enough to disrupt the file I was transferring. |

It does a loop from california, down to Fiji, NZ, OZ, the other end of Fiji, and another point in California. The 2 points in fiji are linked, and hawaii is in there somewhere too. Also there is a new access point planed in San Jose, California. I'm not sure where that will link into the rest of the southern cross system. .Clueless |
