| 128173 | 2003-03-14 23:49:00 | >i was reading a site and it said there cables support 64 Kbps. think adsl/isdn. with reguards to multiable connections yes there is an overhead for each one. thats why you don't run 50 connections with a 5kB/s connection. with most good connections 2-3 is fine. what you lose in overhead you gain by having a more constant download. for slower eg 2-3kB/s connections a single connection is best. however if the site(s) is running really slow then you can simply add aother connection. however be warned, some sites do not like muliable connections and can dissconnect if you have to many. |
