I found this site where a program can be downloaded including source code, cdr.zip. However separate icons have to be made for cd opening and cd closing. It works ok though. www.codeguru.com Scroll down the page to where it says downloads. Other than a short cut to the cd drive to eject there isnt as far as I know any other way of doing it except by way of one of these programs |

Hehehe , well true, I guess that is pretty short ;-) The reasons I asked (and its probably sad to say) is that I was going to "stealth" my kids' CD (place a cover over it so you can't see it) and the only way to open it is the clicking way, I was hoping for a nice easy one click option. Thanks for the info Terry, I'll have a look. Next step the window in the kids computer. And truly the kids computer, not mine...(ahem). |

| 127977 | 2008-01-09 09:04:00 | guys i think u all know about shortcuts for shutdown, hibernate ........the all use rundl32.exe then the .dll file then its object(method) , here i was looking for the .dll file responsible for Eject purpose. U can also think of windows media player, on the menu bar, under play tab , there is Eject(Ctrl + E), that really works, so there must be a way to find the responsible .Dll file |
