| 128554 | 2003-03-16 05:29:00 | Hello every one, It is now my turn to ask for web page feed back :) : As you might Not know I am a web site designer (If any one wants a website :) let me know) My boss ask me to jazz up the formatting a bit on a page: This is what he said to me in his e-mail: (edited) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On XLR8 there is a competitions page: www.xlr8online.co.nz . Just an HTMl. made it him self, and it looks like s****. Could you jazz up the fomatting a bit? Needs to look professional, but quite cool for competition stuff. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is what I have done so far: lvcac.orcon.net.nz What do you all think??? Any idea on how I could jazz up the formatting a bit more… or is it jazz up enough??? :) Note: the broken images (that will fix it self ones it get put up on the xlr8 website) |

I checked the source and it has <div align="center"> but for some reason it has not done this on my broswer (mozilla). Use <center> insted. it would be nice to see a consistent font, just use different sizes and/or different colours to highlight text also you should make the background of the logo 'black' (#000000) so it blends better with the background. |

Yeath, That is one thing I cant change :( , That logo they use right throw the site so I cant change it. |

| 128560 | 2003-05-02 11:32:00 | If the logo background has to stay that dark gray colour, what does the page look like with your black and light gray colours inverted, and the darker gray used instead of lighter? If it was me, I would also add a blank line above the XLR8 picture and below the bottom bar. I dont know if Im just odd, but I always find that the my eye almost never goes to the outside edges of a page, and especially when that imaginary line is half way through an image it looks wrong to me. Iain ... not implying that the possibility of my being right in any way excludes the possibility of me being odd.... |
