| 128879 | 2003-03-17 17:58:00 | Using Outlook Express. I want to close the preview pane. Going to View/Layout/ shows all options relating to the preview pane as greyed out. Nothing I do will allow me to switch off the preview pane. Guess the answer is simple but it's got me beat. Help please. |

| 128883 | 2003-03-17 20:44:00 | You can't change the preview pane if you are in the OE Welcoming Screen Go to Tools/Options and tick "when starting go directly to my inbox folder" Close OE and restart If you now go to View/Layout the option should be active. |

| 128885 | 2003-03-18 00:25:00 | Well I stuffed up again, I don't use IE5.5 but Outlook 2000, Geez wot next? Anyway thanks to all, the advise worked, though in a roundabout way due to my mistake - now no preview pane. Help appreciated, as always. |
