2003-03-17 10:14:00 | I successfully sold something on trademe.co.nz and have a successfee on my acc of 45c...so yes i am in debt of 45c... have contacted trademe.co.nz and asked if that debt is ok to stay there till it exceeds $3 or so, because, as many of u may know..students need money for other reasons...and trademe doesnt accept payments of less than $10...so thats a few litres of milk and loaves of bread for a week... BUT...i've not heard back from trademe.co.nz for 3 weeks now...and yes this was one of the people i emailed and never heard from (a old thread here about this)...but..i still get weekly reminders saying you are now --- weeks in debt of 45c... Would the payment go through if i pay a 45c payment through internet banking?...or would they ingore it?

2003-03-17 12:07:00 | csinclair83-- I can fully understand your frustration as this has happened to me before. I can never understand the mentality of businesses that will send out reminders for such small amounts. Especially if the reminders are sent my mail and cost them 40c to do it. Do you have a cheque account or a friend with one who can send them a cheque for 45c to shut them up?? One other point is that with trade me you are supposed to have a credit account with them & they deduct the fee from that. Why aren't they taking the 45c out of your account. Best of luck. | Peter M (852) | |
2003-03-17 12:32:00 | Ugh, Tradme, they were good, but I stopped using them when they started charging, if I remember right I still have a $3 debit with them from a few years ago. Cheers Liam

2003-03-17 21:34:00 | well i have a credit account with them and theres $2.50 in it...BUT...what i didnt know was that the server was stuffed...so i went along and made another one..and i used that one...so yeah i got 2 accs now..one with credit, one without...and i tried getting it transfered but nope wont approve... I'll ask around if neone can send a cheque off for me for 45c...but i can say i've attempted a internet banking transcation of 45c from my account to theirs...so will check soon if it actually worked

2003-03-17 21:39:00 | When I transfer money using internet banking (Westpac), I get charged 40c. It would be quite odd if you were to get charged 40c on 45c. ;-) | flyer590 (2523) | |
2003-03-17 21:53:00 | if i didnt have a student acc, i would have got charged 50c lol...but thankfully i got a student acc which all fees are waived..apart from using a rival atm machine... i just checked trademe...and the 45c hasnt been cleared...so probably not gonna work...damn

2003-03-17 22:28:00 | For god's sake don't worry about it, it's only 45C, they're not gonna send Baycorp after you for 45C, just pay it next time you need to sell something :) | nz_liam (845) | |
2003-03-18 03:54:00 | My account sat in debt of $6 over the christmas holidays while I wasnt being payed.. I dont think they cared... I believe its more for you if you're using it.... You wanna sell something else, then you've gotta top-up your account. Though, a $5 minimum would be better than $10!
