128745 2003-03-17 05:14:00 When the system goes into power saving, it also goes out of current user and back to opening screen, even if a document was on the screen.
How can it be made to stay in the present user?

128746 2003-03-17 06:08:00 I think you'll find that it keeps the current user active (so all documents open should remain open) but that it just goes to the welcome screen so it can check for password etc. when you come out of the screensaver.

In the screensaver properties window (Right-click on desktop, click Properties. When Display properties opens, click the Screensaver tab) remove the tick from "On resume, password protect". This should stop you returning to the main screen, but it'll also remove the password protection. There might be a way to keep the password protection, but not return to the welcome screen, but I can't find how to do that just yet.

128747 2003-03-17 06:11:00 ooh missed that - you need to open the Power save options from the screen saver properties window first, and click on the Advanced tab, and turn off the password protection in there, to remove password checking when returning from power-save mode.
