| 129534 | 2003-03-19 21:46:00 | If there is a cd in the drawer you want, Turn off PC and you will find a small hole on the front panel somewhere , usually below the draw. Use a long thin object to go through the hole (straightened paper clip) and push. As for drive disappearing, first some questions. Is your anti-virus up to date? What operating system have you? | 129539 | 2003-03-20 03:15:00 | i am running windows me, acer 16xdvd-rom,40xcd-rom. the program for cdr is adaptec easy cd creator 4.02c and also directcd 3.01c when trying to copy a cd it told me"no supported cd recorders found" the icons on "my computer" (d;cd etc) have disapeared. i thought by uninstalling adaptec then reinstalling it may help, but cannot reinstall,(incorrect path) i dont know if it is connected but my norton anti virus is disabled andtell me to reinstall but how?i do thank you all for your patience and help steve |
