| 129261 | 2003-03-18 21:11:00 | Hi, Got an interesting problem . I have a Geforce2 MX 400 Video Card . Sometimes when i start up my machine (Usually after changing some settings EG resolution) i get pretty colored Vertical lines up and down my screen . Its windows (XP) starting because i can hear the nice jingle, but i cant see anything bar the colorful lines . To work around this problem i have to take out my Geforce2 put in my standard card restart my machine until i can see windows . Shut down my PC install the Geforce2 again . When i have done this it works fine . The problem is i don't really enjoy doing this . I hope i have made sense and also hope that someone can help me out . I have (what i believe) to be the latest drivers . I know the simple answer is don't change the resolution . . . BUT some of the games i run automatically do it . |

Arrgghh they haunt me... make them go away... :) My drivers are the latest off the Nvidia site. I belive my monitor driver is installed - I will check it out though or maybe reinstall it?... |
