| 129777 | 2003-03-21 00:42:00 | i bought a game (gt4) two months ago. i installed it and it worked well(with the cd in everytime i played). but i lost the cd and cant play the game anymore... please help i've heard about the vitrual cd programs but dont know any of them....... i am open to suggestions.. thanx guys |

| 129778 | 2003-03-21 00:45:00 | The virtual CD programs will be of no use to you because you need to have the original CD to make it into a virtual one. Do you still have original box and receipt for the game? There might be some info in the box on how to contact the game publisher and you may be able to by a new CD at a reduced cost??? I know you can do this with Microsoft software but only if you have the original box/receipt. |

| 129782 | 2003-03-21 05:10:00 | kinda illegal but you can get a crack to prevent the cd check. If the game needs game data from the cd you may need another copy. Virtual CD programs mount a drive letter (say e: or f:) however you need a .iso or some sort of disk image file format of the origonal cd and since you dont have the origonal cd your kind of stuck. Only option would be to get another CD or _look hard_ for the CD. |
