| 129761 | 2003-03-20 19:59:00 | Okay with this on going problem with my hdd and system resources etc. I went to www.seagate.com and i went to suppot and used there online seatools which is a diagnostic thingy. no S.M.A.R.T alerts have popped up its says. Driver Self Test come back fine with no errors Extended Drive Self Test come back fine with no errors but.. File system check on both the partitions C: and D: come back with errors that need to be fixed, these errors can be fixed in scandisk etc..Yet i run scandisk nearly everyday 2 days and they still come back. Now after start up when I don't go the internet or anything I have 70% resources on average. I also disk defragmented last night. I am soon going to Back up C: drive on Norton Ghost, I have bought more cds and I will move all My Documents to D: so it don't take up so much bullsh*t |
