Probably too late to comment on your choice of waste disposal. If not, post and I'll give you my 2c worth.

129568 2003-03-23 00:56:00 Update from the anniversary front :8}

*cough* Yes, we had a great night too, but since Mrs T and one of the little T's were doing the 40 hour famine, a romantic dinner was out of the question. We just had to use our imaginations. ]:)
We did do the anniversary waltz though. ;)

On the subject of presents, wise men, and gold, we long ago negotiated a fiscal armstice that restricts wanton gift buying to Christmas, Mother's day and birthdays so I was spared any suggestions that buying a new WD was a mean and thoughtless act showing gross male insensitivity all men are beasts and she doesn't know why she ever married me anyway etc etc. I am sure some of you guys out there will recognise the theme.

Re the dreaded WD Murray, thanks for the offer, but I checked prices/features and settled on the Robinhood RW11. This was $399 at my local Mitre 10, but 10 minutes on the Web got me signed on to Mitre 10 on-line and I got the same product from a Mitre 10 on the other side of town and delivered by courier for $306, freight & GST inclusive. I didn't know that they just put the sales out to their shops to fill, but who cares? Go figure on the price difference from a national chain!

Cheers

garage disposal????

Of course. After 17 years, if you have been in the same house, most wives would greatly desire a garage removal. Preferably of the contents so that they can park the car in it.

129571 2003-03-23 02:47:00 Just hire a crane to pick the whole thing up, and throw it on the back of a big truck. There... garage gone. The excuse to buy a new one could be debated. somebody (208)
129572 2003-03-23 03:06:00 Not a solution - it's the basement. House gone and no excuse to buy another... Heather P (163)

Are you clairvoyant Heather, or are you Mrs T hiding behind an F1 pseudonym?

Cheers

And those of us who are husbands, know the old saying :-
