| 129546 | 2003-03-19 22:22:00 | Hi Team After 16 years of reliable use, Mrs T's waste disposal finally spat the dummy and has to be replaced for lack of spare parts. I only need a small (but unique) plastic pipe to fix it but that's another story. Having done the obligatory internet search I find little reporting to recommend any brands and Consumer's last testing was 1996! I am looking at a Robinhood RW12 at the moment but the brand is unknown to me so can anybody offer comments or recommendations? It is our 17th wedding anniversary on Saturday :8} and I want to surprise her with a really romantic gift. ]:) Cheers Billy 8-{) :) P.S. Mrs T really wants an eternity ring but I reckon you only get that when you feel like you have been married for an eternity and to me, 17 years still feels like 5 minutes. Such is wedded bliss :8} :8} |

Mans best friend has been known to eat food scraps before if its and consolation ;-) Personally, I think the saying for christmas: Wise men still bring gold Is a good saying that can be used all year round ;-) |

Labradors: Don't know when to stop eating but don't regard potato skins as part of the food group Pigs: Will eat ANYTHING. How about a nice little pig for a family pet? |

I really need a grinder for the stuff that even they won't eat! Cheers Billy 8-{) Wise men still bring gold: Your advice is noted Chill, I always keep a small supply of nice and/or shiny things to bring out on suitable occasions :D |

| 129552 | 2003-03-20 00:26:00 | We had hens for years - up until a couple of months ago. Since then food scraps have gone into an area roughly designated as a compost bin. My daughter was heard to comment the other day whilst heading outdoors with the bucket "I must be the only person in Auckland who feeds a fencepost!" Definitely a Pigador! In fact, considering the rotund tummy on someone who lives not so far from here, one doesn't need to cross with the pig! |

| 129554 | 2003-03-20 00:34:00 | I had a similar problem a few months back. After looking at various brands I decided to replace with the same (Insinkerator) The new one fitted into the space left by the 10yo one with no modifications necessary to the pipework. A big plus IMHO. cheers Neddy |
