2003-03-21 09:19:00 | Much of that is very true. Its how many Canadians also think, and also an American friend of mine has similar views on some of those topics, especially that about US tourists :) | Terry Porritt (14) | |

2003-03-25 01:25:00 | Much of that Daily Mirror article is also true, the two articles taken together demonstrate that nothing is either black or white. Regards 9/11 Americans must ask themselves why? The linking of Al Qaeda with Iraq demonstrates pitiful knowledge, even though Bush has been doing his best to brainwash the many gullibles who know little of matters outside of their own country.

2003-03-25 06:04:00 | The Rainbow Warrior just happened to be in New Zealand, which the French thought would be a soft touch. The police did a good job in tracking those terrorists down, then politics intervened, again yet another example of the French being the perfidious ones, an accusation they have thrown at the British in the past. Another example of their perfidy was the Exocet missile affair mentioned in the thread of Billy T's WFTWE#42. The human race doesnt seem to have progressed much does it? And it can only get worse with the pressures of over population.

2003-03-26 02:55:00 | The Daily Mirror would have probably agreed with Neville Chamberlain. The best thing to come out of that newspaper was the old Andy Capp cartoons. | veterannz (960) | |
2003-03-26 03:36:00 | This is the link, Les: pressf1.pcworld.co.nz It made me a bit sick at the time that "the French", or at least the engineers, military and politicians would have been gleeful that the Exocets worked so well, and who better to try them out on than those "perfidious Anglais". Quoting from "The Falklands War" magazine Pt4, .."For Exocet salesmen in Paris, it was a field day." 20 died immediately on the HMS Sheffield which sank, 13 were killed on the Glamorgan.
