| 130533 | 2003-03-24 11:15:00 | Hi all, I've just built a pc, and installed win 98 SE (few problems) and it goes, but when i go to change the resolution to 800 * 600 , the colour changes it self to 256. And if i then try to change the colour to 16 bit the resolution changes to 640 * 480. I am running an AOC 7Vlr monitor and a GF4 Ti 4200, they both have the best drivers i could find (i think) i just don't have any idea what to do. Any help would be really, really appericated. | 130534 | 2003-03-24 11:30:00 | sounds like you havn't installed the video card drivers. no doubt you proberly forgot the motherboard drivers as well. install them off the cds that came with the parts or get the latest vers off the net. | tweak'e (174) | ||
| 130535 | 2003-03-25 08:22:00 | Thanks for responding, I tried this and it still doesn't work. I installed the motherboard, video card and monitor drivers, still cant change the resoultion or colour mode!! Please help. |
