| 130182 | 2003-03-23 02:15:00 | I've used CSS on an orcon site, In the pages requiring "mainstyle", i put the script: <LINK REL=StyleSheet HREF="mainstyle.css" TYPE="text/css"> </head> and then i uploaded a txt doc A:link { COLOR: #00ffff; TEXT-DECORATION: none} A:visited { COLOR: #00ffff; TEXT-DECORATION: none} A:hover { TEXT-DECORATION: underline; color: #ff0000} BODY {scrollbar-face-color: #666666;scrollbar-shadow-color: #333333; scrollbar-highlight-color: #333333; scrollbar-3dlight-color: #333333; scrollbar-darkshadow-color: #333333; scrollbar-track-color: #181818; scrollbar-arrow-color: #CCFFFF;} ...and called it mainstyle.css which works a treat. .Clueless |

You don’t need to type in www you just need to typed in http://yangnet.orcon.net.nz it works just the same :) I know because I have 3 sites with orcon. 1A. If they is every something wrong with a website and it is not a dynamic website then they is a good chance it will be the person how made the site, they might be overlooking something… or forgot to up load something 2. You say you want in to be a private site for your family, no website can be private, google will soon find it & soon other people will find it as well. How long have you had that site for??? PS: orcon does have some down time, I monitored orcon for a few months last year and they got up too about 98 / 99 % up time!!!! |
