that's when we've noticed our 2 to be of any use, a gift also from mitre 10 I think. They take 2 rechargable, replaceable AA's, that last all night and have 2 little LED's in it to do all the work.

If I think I'll be back after dark, I put the 12v lamps on... or the outside light!

I work there and we don't get many of them back so they would seem to work. Quality I don't know, but hey it's probably not much harm if buy them and take them back if u don't like them :D

They're great for seeing where the steps are, finding your way to that special place in the garden, and all that sort of thing.

If you want a work light, roll out an extension cord, and plug in one of them 500W halogen floods that have become so popular.
