| 130323 | 2003-03-23 09:03:00 | Aaaaaaaaaaaah Maybe if I update my modem drivers and tweak my internet connection the lag with cs migth goe and im downloading a patch for aa and its goin at 4.0k/sec :( I was hoping it would atleast be 5k/secs. Any ways Im not sure what is the right driver for my modem and don't know where to get my drivers so maybe you guys can give me a link :) No google link plz, im usless with search engines and im not sure if im getting the right drivers any ways My os is WinXP Pro and my modem is....let me see.......ahh how do i see what my modem modle is ? I think its a V90 Intel HaM fax voice modem but not sure, how do I check? |

| 130328 | 2003-03-25 09:20:00 | Make a folder in c:\ and extract them to it. Go start>settings>control panel>system Click on the hardware tab at top and click on device manager. Look down list for modem and click on the + Now right click on the modem you can now see and choose from the menu that pops up properties. You will see a tab called driver, click on that, then click on the update driver button. Choose "install drivers from a set location" Then use the browse button to point to the folder you have made in c:\ and follow your nose from there. | Pheonix (280) | ||
