1307672 2012-10-19 20:42:00 Are passwords driving you nuts like it is me, you go to a website and it does not like “your password” because it is too short or too long or does not contain any other character apart from a-Z and 0-9 from your favorite one, then you have to think up yet another dam password . Then there are some web browsers that keep a list but there is no password to see the list and anybody can get in and see it, BRILLIANT!

Here is a interesting way in keeping a list of all those passwords without listing the passwords on a sheet that might fall into contact with “other eyes” if you have a password for say your bank that might be say 123%ABC you write down N for number, S for special character, L letter so your bank password entry would be “Bank NNNSLLL” now the hardest part here is if you wanted to check your bank statement online and it is so long you last used it you have forgotten it, when you look at your password page you just have to remember what password you used the goes number – number – number - character – letter – letter – letter, just remember not to dream up another password with that same password format such as 234%ABC or you will be back to square one . “confused” and go nuts .

To make the list even more interesting you could use l for lower case, L for uppercase . or instead of N for number how about C for count . Instead of L for letter use E for Email, (Get it, Email for letter (never mind)) so now in your page of passwords you might have

bank NNNSLLL
onLineShoping CCCSEEE

Even thou you use the same “123%ABC” password for both your bank and online mail order shopping .

Of course if you know another language like French, and if they have a equivalent word for number or letter that starts with a different character, who can guess what your password page might look like .

1307674 2012-10-19 20:50:00 why? Frank_sumbody (16923)
1307675 2012-10-19 21:02:00 Seems like spam to me, particularly as it is your first post. Normally I'd expect a link to a site you say helped you manage your passwords in your next post. Nick G (16709)
1307676 2012-10-19 21:15:00 Seen the countless lists of passwords that have been leaked lately? It seems we could all do with a few more ideas on passwords and security, so any discussion around it is good if you ask me :) Chilling_Silence (9)

Just a bit suspicious is all.

why?
Well,if you aren't a scammer/bot/troll etc - no offense was intended, just a bit suspicious as it was you first post :)

1307678 2012-10-19 21:48:00 How could you report it as spam??? No links, no email address, no prices

It was an idea about passwords.

The best thing about this idea is that you could write this down in a notebook:

BNZ password: BNZbanKS1 .. which looks legit; but in actual fact should be B3Zba3K%1 because you swap the N and n for a number, and the S for a special. So long as you remember which letters and numbers you are using for that month, you are fine. Remembering 3 characters is definitely a lot easier than remembering an entire password.. esp when like me you travel a lot of sites

Was his first post, was expecting a second post with a link to a site. I was wrong. It does happen occasionally. Apologies to the OP.
