I need to *acquire* a guitar now...

1307297 2012-10-17 08:45:00 I pre-ordered it from nzgameshop.com for $58.99NZ ($68.99 - $10 gift voucher I had). That includes the real tone cable. Can't wait to fire it up. I have a couple of guitars sitting around the house. Tukapa (62)
1307298 2012-10-17 08:49:00 Uses a real guitar? Now that is clever.

I wonder how accurate it is...

1307299 2012-10-17 08:52:00 If anyone remembers, I imported the xbox edition and bundled electric guitar on day of release (8 months ago?) only to discover upon delivery that it was region locked.

Now I'm in Aus, the guitar is in storage in NZ, the game has been thrown away.

Then a couple weeks back I see the xbox version has finally been released here in Skippyville, so I bought it, called into cash converters, dropped $80 on an electric guitar and have been crankin it ever since.

Guess I'll pick up the PC version as well.

I was wondering where I would get a cable. Thanks cheaper than Steam :D

Pretty much the main reason I posted it. I knew that at least one person might appreciate the news :p

I wonder how accurate it is... 100 percent accurate, What you plays comes out the speakers, You have to play the real notes in order to get a pass. It took me 3 goes to nail the first song, however at that level its only the basic notes/chords, I believe each track has three versions plus a bass track. Either way, Its more progress in 10 minutes then what I made in 10 months. Metla (12)

No problem! It was the cheapest I could find.

This. I am hoping it will kick me into gear and will enable me to learn more in a short time than I have been able to teach myself in ages. Good to hear it's accurate and you are enjoying it Metla!

1307303 2012-10-17 10:54:00 Sounds like it would certainly beat wasting your time learning a fake toy guitar from other similar games... Agent_24 (57)

Way back in highschool I followed the development of this. The site seems broken though, not sure what the deal is there.
